CHICAGO -- Nearly one year ago, Robert Whittaker defeated Yoel Romero to win the UFC's interim middleweight champion with a bad leg. On Saturday, he defeated Romero again to retain his middleweight title -- this time with a bad hand. Whittaker (20-4) edged Romero in a close split decision at UFC 225 inside United Center.
